Singapore is broadening its cooperation with the World Health Organisation to enhance global food safety. The partnership will now incorporate risk assessment into its existing operations.
According to Food Safety News, the National Centre for Food Science, which is part of the Singapore Food Agency, has served as a WHO collaborating centre since 1992. Until now, the primary focus of this relationship has been the monitoring of food contamination.
