The Public Health Agency of Sweden, Folkhälsomyndigheten, has reported a recent climb in the number of people infected with Campylobacter. The surge in domestic cases began at the end of May.
According to Food Safety News, officials stated that this spike was expected. The current levels of infection are reported to be similar to those seen during the previous year.
