Saudi Arabia has successfully reached self-sufficiency in potato production. According to Food Business Africa, the nation is now focusing on expanding its processing sector and increasing the volume of frozen exports.
Current data shows that roughly 60 per cent of the domestic harvest is utilised as table potatoes, serving both local households and the restaurant industry.
